I am unable to find anywhere information regarding this, an old thread of zerodha dating 2013 says that the total margin required for selling options is span plus exposure minus the premium received on selling option. But when i am calculating the margin required it is showing span plus exposure total and premium is not lessened from it for total margin required. .pls guide me on this so that i would know total margin i need to have to sell options without fearing squareoff.
