DP account linked with multiple broker

If I link the Zerodha dp account with other broker, will I automatically see the stocks that I bought using that broker? or I need to add the stock quantity manually?

If I am right, I can buy from any broker with same dp, but need to sell only from one broker?

Yep, you can give the DP ID of your demat account with us to another broker. When you buy, it will appear in your demat account with us. You will have to sell using us though.
