How soon can rollover be done?

Though the normal practise of rollover has generally been during the last week of expiry… things have changed.

For eg the Expiry is on 27th Sep, when is the earliest date to trade in Oct months contracts? Can I do it even today?

Yes rollover can be done any point of trading day, no need to wait till last week of expiry.
