Equity mf short term taxation

I have profits from
a) a number of short term delivery-based equity trades &
b) a few short-term equity mutual fund trades

I understand that a) has to be non-speculative business income.

Does b) too have to be declared as non-speculative business income or can i show it under STCG?

@Quicko

Trading in Equity Shares and Equity Mutual Funds is usually considered as a Capital Gains. However, it may be considered as a Non-Speculative Business Income if you trading is the main source of income. CBDT had issued a clarification as to when sale of shares can be treated as a Business Income instead of Capital Gains.

You can read more about it here - How to treat sale of shares as Capital Gains or Business Income
