**You can check the application process [here](https://tradingqna.com/t/how-do-i-apply-for-the-rights-issue-of-piramal-enterprises/33380/3).**

You will need to enter your Demat account’s [Beneficiary Owner ID](https://support.zerodha.com/category/your-zerodha-account/dp-id-and-bank-details/dp-id-bo-id/articles/dp-name-dp-id-bo-id-and-demat-id), which is a 16-digit number, while applying for the rights issue.

**What will happen to my purchased holding of RE shares if I do not apply for the rights issue?**

Your REs will lapse, and you will lose the premium paid to acquire them. The RE will be in the form of temporary demat securities, which will lapse if not renounced/exercised once the trading window is closed.

**I don’t have the shares, but I bought REs. Am I still eligible to apply for the rights issue?**

In case you have bought REs but don’t have shares, you’re still eligible for the rights issue. You may apply for the rights shares either through the RTA’s portal or via net banking ASBA if your bank allows it. If you don’t take any action and let the REs remain in your Zerodha account, they will lapse after the issue.

If possible then give your review whether to apply or not with all the data available and what will the company do with the money they want to raise, please.

One more question, is there any social media group where curious people regarding rights issue or other corporate action can talk to each other, anywhere may be on Telegram, whatsapp, reddit etc.

Hi @Neekheeljain, if you’re looking at this rights issue for any arbitrage opportunity, you can do the maths accordingly. This post explains it well:

There’s a potential for arbitrage if one can buy the rights to these new shares at a price lower than the expected stock price after the rights issue. The company shares the complete details of the rights issue, including utilisation of proceeds, in its LOF ([Letter of Offer](https://www.bseindia.com/xml-data/corpfiling/AttachHis/379dc395-d9cf-4b0d-863b-7ec3ba15d1b6.pdf)). You can always refer to that for these details.

In Ethos Limited’s case, out of ₹406.11 crore being raised, ₹310 crore will go toward working capital and ₹96.11 crore for general corporate needs. Full details, including the year-wise plan, are on page 54 of the [LOF](https://www.bseindia.com/xml-data/corpfiling/AttachHis/379dc395-d9cf-4b0d-863b-7ec3ba15d1b6.pdf).

You’re eligible to apply for 1 rights share based on the 4:43 ratio for your 19 shares. You can apply for more, but the extra allotment depends on availability.
