Thanks @aniln . I should wait till tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
But In Zerodha account it shows 387 price instead of 818 . I thought that all RE issued share will be traded at least 818 rs.
RE is not a share but Rights Entitlement to be used within a specific time period. 387 buyer of RE will have to pay 818 more to company to purchase SHARE .
ok . now it started appearing in HDFC if I want to apply it then it is asking some details which is confusing to me.
I have chosen CDSL for Zerodha but what should be the beneficiary account no of zerodha as bank account number is already there. we have DP ID but not sure about number . is DP ID we need to mention in beneficiary account number but then DP Id separate field which is greyed out in case of CDSL .
I am confused here . PLease help

Beneficiary Account no can be checked on your console dashboard. Console > Account > Demat.
But I am also facing the same issue where DP Id is locked
CIF no OR beneficiary no is not relevant and most banks have done away with this provision on asba page . simply write your Pan no or 12345678 is my understanding . @ShubhS9 please guide.
Yep, CIF number isnāt needed anymore and one can input PAN too instead.
I am having difficulty understanding rights issue. So if i have 367 shares now I am eligible to apply for 14 shares at 818 per share. So from ASBA page i apply for this and if i get allotment then i will have 14 shares in my demat but once it comes to my demat the price will be whatever the stock market price is. Is that so?
Yes.
Rights issue typically involves being able to buy the stocks at a discount from the company compared to its market price.
All the price reactions to the rights issue have already been discounted on 26th JUL (Ex-date).
Any price movement here after is purely based on future company specific events other than the rights issue.
So the date of credit of shares in your demat would just be another normal market day.
When your rights shares get credited, only your buy average per share will undergo a change.
Assuming you had 26 shares previously at ā¹500 and now applied for 1 rights share at ā¹818.
The average buying price would become ~ā¹512 per share (for 27 shares)
Log into HDFC Bank.
On the left hand side you will see a Request option under which you will see IPO / Right Issue New. Click on that. It will take you to a page where you have to select the account number and then it takes you out of the HDFC Bank site to apply for the right issue.
Please check the form there and apply properly. You need to enter the Demat account ID properly.
Hi,
I am a new user and bought 25 shares of tatacon re on 9th augā24. And today these are showing inactive⦠plz let me know what should i do to get my money back?
The REs are traded only for limited time. The REs bought can be used for applying fit rights issue if Tara Consumer until 19th August.
You can check application process on the main post.
Request to share the link for the application and process regarding your the REs. As this is the first time i have bought REā¦
You can check out the process here: How to apply for Tata Consumer Products Limited (TATACONSUM) Rights issue?
I think the best way to apply is through banking sites which support ASBA. Got to know from friends that HDFC & ICICI support
A little question here,
last trading date of TATACONSUM-RE was 12th August,
I forgot to apply in that time and RE is not there in my holdings but expiry date is 19th, so can i still apply ?
Yes, rights issue window is open until 19th August. You can apply anytime until then.
Got it,
my account was having only 1 RE, can i apply for more quantity ? like 25
one last question,
I have 50 shares of TATACONSUM so i got 1 RE for that, now can i apply for 20 quantity or only 1 quantity ?
You can apply for any number of shares. However, the allotment is guaranteed to the extent of the REs you hold. For the remaining quantity, if you do not get an allotment, the amount will be released in your bank account.
I applied for the RE and it now shows on the RE portal in HDFC that the bid has been executed. Will these show in my Zerodha portfolio and when? If not where can I access them?
