Today’s (Expiry) NIFTY total traded contracts are around 10 CR
FINNIFTY’s (Expiry) was around 1CR.
So around 10% of NIFTY
Hope it reaches around 60-70% of NIFTY by year end.
So can can trade it.
Any one knows what it takes for NSE to enable market orders in FINNIFTY

Are you referring to Stop loss market order or just plain market order in FinNifty ?
Just simple MARKET buy & sell orders
That is already available for FinNifty in Dhan. Am not sure about other platforms.
So the restriction is from broker side ?

To my knowledge NSE has stopped Stop Loss Market orders on options only. Market orders can still be placed.
There is less liquidity in FinNifty option contracts. It is not safe to place market orders, especially on expiry day.
ATM and Near ATM strikes have fairly good liquidity.
