FNO loss sett off against STCG from sale of equity

Hello,
Can we set off the gains made by sell of equity shares against losses made on FNO trading.
FNO trading loss was incurred in 2015-16. This loss i am carrying under short term capital loss.
STCG is made in last year by sale of equity shares.
Please advise.

INCOMETAX - equity gain and options loss

Sir There is a Short Term capital Gain(STCG) of rs 55000 in equity selling and loss of Rs 165000 in options selling. Do incometax to be paid on equity STCG or can be adjusted aganist options loss. I am already a tax payer for other income. please give your valuable suggestions.
