If I have options, both buy and sell, and next day it go into ban period, will premium freeze or go up or down or current position go into loss
for example, I buy AMBUJACEM 500 CE at 100, and sell 450 at 150, the difference profit is 50, will this profit remains the same or loss will increase ? after it goes into ban period next day
When the stock F&O contracts are in the ban period, no fresh positions are allowed for any of the futures and options contracts in that stock. You will only be allowed to exit the existing positions during this period. The ban is reversed only if the open interest falls below 80%.

it won’t remain the same. only fresh positions are not allowed. buyers and sellers can exit their existing positions.
