I shorted USD-INR future and totally forgot that today was expiry day. Have not squared it of.
What is the procedure now. Plz let me know. I have 10 lots short.
You don’t have to worry about physical settlement in USDINR F&O as Currency Derivatives are cash settled, the Futures position will be settled at today’s RBI Refrence Rate and depending on that any profit or loss you will be making will be credited to / debited from your account.
