Forgot to square-off Zinc order at contract expiry

Hi,

Unfortunately today I forgot to square-off my Zinc Jun 16 cover order. Will it be square-off by exchange at closing price and will there be penalty any for it?

Yes, it will get squared off based on DDR price declared by exchange after market closing. 

Check this from Zerodha bulletin today

The following contracts will be available for trading only upto 5:35 PM, 30th June 2016, post which the exchange will settle positions with DDR price after market hours. Margin for open positions will remain blocked until the market closes.
