Apparently Indian markets didn’t after hitting an ATH. So some times ATH continues. Some times it doesn’t. So 50:50?

I believe in 50:50 at every given point of time. Market can go up or down the next sec. Next min. Next hour. Next day. Day week. Next month.
Just may be not next year. Higher chance we will go higher when it comes to year on year.

Can…Yes, but how likely is it? Do you “believe” it to be exactly 50/50? At any point in time? I also think NIFTY “can” go negative, but it’s extremely extremely unlikely. I would put the probability at less than 0.00001%. I still think it can though.

If you believe the chances of going up and down are equal, why did you sell the day/week after the bounce from 22k(and probably at 24.6k)? Why not just wait till next year? Even if you want to maintain 50/50 equity/debt portfolio at any point in time, Do you really sell randomly that day or do you at least try to wait for a specific point say like 24k?
