Has NSE changed bhavcopy location?

Hi again, how can we get G-SEC data, which contains the bond price, YTM etc
does nse have a bhavcopy for that too in the debt segment i am not familiar with the reports there or is there any other sources to get EOD data just like we get for stocks

I have never looked at this before, so verify.

Gsec instruments seem to be listed here

So we have multiple segments - GS / SG / TB from initial look.
I dont know what those mean.

I searched the symbol in bhavcopy csv, and its there.
In my code i filter out these segments right now, so havent seen the data visually but above seems ok on first look.

Edit - in the first link, select gsec in dropbox. Default is bonds and link doesnt save it.

GS - Central Govt. bonds

SG - State Govt bonds

  • Interest/coupon payments every 6 months.

TB - Treasury bills

  • 91/182/364 days maturity from date of issue.
  • No Interest/coupon payments.

Yeah, you look at it for good yields occasionally. Perfect risk free returns if one can hold till maturity.

Maybe ill try it for my parents. There are some schemes for senior citizens with decent yields, but he said that there is a max limit for investing.
