Can i use my holdings to write options of any other stock ?
or should i use them to only write the options of the stock that i hold.

Planning to invest few lacs in robust blue chip companies and can i use the portfolio value to write options? Will the same work with mutual funds as well?
If you are asking about pledging of shares, then yes you can pledge your holdings and use the margin to write options of any stock (not necessarily the ones you hold).
As of now there is no provision for pledging Mutual funds.
