How and when is dividend credited?

Well I am really confused about this.
I held 8 shares of Aarti Industries from 6 apr 2017(buy date) till 19-Sep-2017.
Now the info on moneycontrol is this
Announcement Date 22-05-17
Effective Date 18-09-17
Dividend Type Final
Dividend(%) 20.00
Remarks Rs.1.0000 per share(20%)Final Dividend

Am I eligible for Dividend?

Yes you will get it in your bank account but it may take few more days if u haven’t received until now

You sold the share after one day it became EX-dividend. You will be on company’s record book. So don’t worry

Yes, you are eligible and dividend credit usually takes upto 2 weeks. As Tapovan said, the dividend is directly credited to your bank account. Have you checked your bank statement for the dividend credit?
