How do I analyze my past trades?

To improve results, I want to make less mistakes, and double down on good behavior.
What should i look for, in my past trades, is there any method that works for you.

Summary

That you use for analysis of your trades.
Or any prevalent analysis techniques.

Would love to learn

if ( you == ā€œtechieā€):
you can insert the data to notion.so manually or via python.
else:
you can write in a diary.

One method I follow:

Classify each trade into one the the four buckets:

  1. Followed process/plan, made profit
  2. Followed process/plan, made loss
  3. Didnā€™t follow process/plan, made profit
  4. Didnā€™t follow process/plan, made loss

The goal is to separate the discipline from the result.
Try to eliminate 3 & 4, as much as possible FIRST.

If youā€™re sticking to 1 & 2, but still not making profits, then revisit your plan.
