How do you analyse company concalls and quarterly results?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been doing equity research for a while and recently got curious about how other investors here handle the quarterly results season.

Specifically:

  • Do you actually listen to concalls or read transcripts?
  • How long does it take you to process one company’s quarterly results?
  • What’s the most painful part — finding the transcript, understanding management tone, comparing guidance vs actuals?
  • Do you use any tools or is it mostly manual?

Not pitching anything — genuinely trying to understand how serious investors handle this. Would love to hear your workflow.

I listen to only some big companies’ conference calls… I use ChatGPT to understand the whole result. The most painful part is to understand other companies that are from other industries than mine. For instant notification of results, I use tijori alerts
