How does btst work if we can sell shares on t + 2 days

If I buy share today and want to sell tomorrow can I do it? Somewhere I read shares can be sold after trading + 2 days

The shares are delivered to your demat on T+2. However, you can ideally sell your funds on T+1. Here’s an example:

You buy on T day. Scheduled to receive them on T+2.
You sell on T+1. And need to deliver to the new buyer on T (original) + 3.
The shares are received by you on T+2 and immediately forwarded to the new buyer and delivered to him on T+3.

Always do BTST on liquid stocks. Since you can default delivery if you do not receive the shares on T+2 because the previous seller failed to deliver them to you.
