I was once customer of Investor when they started 5min first time in their platform. Let me tell you pros and cons of software.
Pros:

Great for new-comer for understanding technical analysis.

Simple to setup.

Managing your stocks and futures in Portfolio is extra great tool.

Good level of support from marketing team.

Fair pricing.
Cons:

You can’t add custom indicators.

You don’t get the data for your further use.

Can’t put trade directly from software.

Can’t perform back testing.
-
In long-run Software is costly compare to other data-feed driven software.
My analysis is based on usage of Investor till 2011. Don’t know what more they have added since then. Hope this answers you. If something specific you want to know, you are welcome.
