I have some HINDPETRO stocks. How many days will I have to hold the stocks to get the dividend?

The ex-dividend date for HINDPETRO is July 8th.

To be eligible for dividends, you’ll have to hold the shares until then, you can sell the shares any time on or after the ex-date and you’d be eligible for dividends. If you sell before the ex-date, then you won’t be eligible.
