be ready to put in atleast 3 years of effort.
I guess 3 years to 5 years depends upon the psychology of the trader. To make consistent profits, at least the said years required.
Depends on two things…

How desperately you want to learn. Suppose you are a full time trader or want to be a full time trader, i’d assume you are in dire need to learn…so you’d spend more time learning.

How focused is your approach. If you starting fresh, chances are you will digress quite a bit exploring ideas…most of which work in theory but falls flat when it comes to practical implementation. So the key is to find your focus…but this is easier said than done.

Learning has no end. It’s 60,000 days minimum.
