30% max for me in a 2.5 year trading career. Figures like 200% is possible in Option Trading if you are extremely lucky and you don’t hedge your position. But please don’t try it out

I once got @ 250% in Bank Nifty option trade. It bought the on the previous day the same evening there was some good news from USA, it think it was some bond sales. The next morning Bank Nifty opened with huge gap up.

Yes…true…I found in Sept 2014, Rs.75 (for 10 lots) spent as premium for 10 lots of USD/INR option turned into Rs.3250 next day morning… i.e.with just Rs.7500, one could have earned Rs.3,25,000 overnight…I didn’t buy & I lose. This is not fake as I can post screenshot of both days…
But its pure luck and without any hedging if you are running out before it, you will end up as a loser like me…In October closing day, I lost about Rs.20,000 trying for such a ‘jackpot’…and as you know, my options ended up with 0. I bought this time, so I lose.
Feb 2015’ closing also had a small chance… 62.25 PE was Rs.400 (for 10lots) on 24th Feb and next day, it traded at Rs.2400! Clear 400% overnight…I went to buy with Rs.475 (0.0475 per lot) and the price went high upto Rs.550 then…So I became angry & canceled my buy order! I lost my interest even when the price went down upto Rs.400 for lots. Next day morning, it was trading at Rs.2400! I didn’t buy, so i lose.
Hence in my opinion, its a bad idea which only makes you to lose than you earn…Mind power is essential for this kind of trading…
Its safe to play 10paise game everyday. In currency, USDINR or EURINR can give a chance to make 10paise per lot everyday…Slow n steady wins the race!

okay, i asked this question as I have found a trading pattern in a particular stock after much hard work (I worked my butt off observing this stock day and night)…and the pattern works, over and over…I have made 80% profit in last 10 trading days using this strategy…I am new to this game, having begun trading on 2 jan 2015…that’s why I was wondering if this sort of thing is common or rare…
