Hello there!! I want to bid for NSE IPO through my bank website(Andhra Bank). For many IPO’s I have observed that there is no separate link or column for NSE and BSE. My question is that “Is IPO a common procedure for NSE n BSE? After the allotment only could I find whether I got shares in NSE or BSE?”
Exchanges come into the picture only after the allotment happens in an IPO. The role of an exchange to provide a platform for you to sell your shares. If you get an allotment you can sell them on either of the exchanges assuming that the company is listing on both.
