I want to know what approach should be there to find a good SL for a strategy. Is there a thumb rule that any of you guys use in terms of time frame ex- one should only stay in a 15 min time frame strategy for a max of XYZ time some thing like this?
totally depends on your trading style
are you doing swing/intra/positional?
which TF do you use the most while analysing trades?
Going for a trailing stop loss is a good strategy to learn.
I use 15 min mostly
Thanks man will so through thus
True but what can be the best TSL level. so that it doesn’t hit too quick and is not too long also
It totally depends! That could be based on your initial risk-reward ratio which you want to move, some other fundamental criteria, or something else entirely. There are numerous internet resources available. You might see which one most suits your approach and style.

Thank you this was helpfull
this optimizing video was well made… helpfull
I must say that the video is properly curated. I don’t think that the OP will ever face an issue with setting the right stops.
