Hi - I am looking to pull historical data from Zerodha (I understand there is a paid option) on EOD prices, volumes, shares outstanding for all Indian stocks from 2001 onwards (or best available). The starting point seems to be a list of tickers. What’s a good way of getting this for historical periods?
You could try getting the list of tickers from Bhavcopy. The NSE website has Bhavcopy data starting from November 1994. You might also have to cross-reference the Changes in Symbols document on the NSE website as the ticker symbols for many companies would have changed.
