I was going through subject of volatility but not clear about it. So, how to know that whether the script is High or low volatile.
One thing i read is that we can check the script chart. if it has high fluctuations than it is high in volatility and vice-versa.

hie as of my knowledge . volatility is nothing but (high-low) . if you plot that on any specific instrument you can get the spread it had from high of specific time to its low . but for generally we see volatility of index in vix its computed based on options .
