I am new to zerodha.

How to place an order of a equity stock by value rather than by quantity?

For example: I would like to buy how many ever shares worth Rs.10,000

How can I place such a order?

Use a calculator. 10000/CMP= No. of shares.

For CNC You can Simply 10000/STOCK PRICE = Number Of Shares.
