How to switch from non-direct to direct MF in coin

Zerodha few months back introduced direct MF in it coin.I had invested in non-direct MF and want to know if there is any possibility in coin to switch the same MF to direct category.This is possible if you had invested directly with the fund house online.When can we expect similar feature to be introduced in coin so that the switch is possible ?

Exiting the existing regular plans is not mandatory. You can continue to hold them. When buying new funds on coin, you will by default be buying under direct plans. Only if you want to convert your existing from normal to direct, you will have to redeem and reinvest.

That’s what i exactly did.Its actually a workaround.Would Love to see the switch option in Coin in future.
