How to transfer direct mutual funds purchased on AMC website to Coin?

I’ve SIP in few direct mutual funds purchased on the AMC website.
How do I transfer this to Coin platform?

Pretty sure you can’t without paying for it. It’s also an annoying process, and very expensive for some categories of mutual funds.

Why would you want to do this? There are very little benefits to holding mutual fund units in demat form, and plenty of hassles.

So I can pledge the units if more margin required while taking a trade.
