Is it easier to use index funds for positional trading like for few days or weeks?
I know that index funds are not meant for trading. But, indices are less likely or more difficult to manipulate and less volatile compared to individual stocks.
Can we short index funds? Is naked shorting allowed?
Do traders positional trade on indices?
What are some of the pros cons, fees, tax, entry exit loads, hidden charges?
And any specific trading strategy that’s particularly more efficient or rewarding for indices?
