I have a Zerodha HUF account. For the DDPI, they asked me to courier the physical form. For individual accounts DDPI is done online, and my HUF account opening was fully online, documents included. So it feels odd to courier just this one form.
Two questions:
The form has 5 places where I have to put the Karta stamp and sign. The boxes are very small. When I stamped, one stamp went over another and it looks cluttered. Is that okay, or should I put a digital stamp on it and sign by hand?
Can Zerodha take the signed form by email as an exception, like they did at account opening?
I have attached a photo of the form. You can see how small the space is.
For HUF accounts, DDPI activation requires the physical form to be couriered to us. Email submission is not supported.
Please ensure the HUF seal and required signatures are clearly visible on the form. If the stamp slightly overlaps the box due to the limited space, that should be fine as long as it is clear and legible.
Once received, the DDPI will be activated within 72 working hours.
