I bought 10 lots of CE15700 Banknifty call option, if Banknifty close below 15700 and I donot sell till expiry will there be STT applicable?

If option expires in the money and is not closed then only STT will be applicable.

In the above case if banknifty expires below 15700 then Call option will expire worthless and no STT will be charged.

STT is charged only on selling side for F&O segment.
