I have pledged stocks and used the margin to trade F&O. One of the pledged stocks has declared a dividend. Where will this dividend be credited?

You may do those in the console > Holdings > Select Stock > Pledge

Yes

Hello, My portfolio completely through small case platform and i recently pledged some of the share to utilize the same for F&O. But i noticed the article mentioning that pledges share can be sold instantly (without unpledg), but my order did not go through from small case platform. Then i had to unpledge and sold them next day.

Is this feature not yet released by Zerodha? Pls confirm

U don’t need to unpledge and wait for selling. u can directly place a sell order in KITE. This is new update

@Kshiteesh_Saralaya thank you for the exact note i was searching for.
Please confirm if my understanding is right from above example.

Step1 : Free Cash - 1 Lac

Step2 : Sell F&O requiring 1Lac margin, resulting in β€œ0” free cash

Step3 : Pledge holdings and get 1Lac collateral after haircut %

Step 4 : Sell new F&O contract requiring 80k margin. When position was opened, the entire 80% was used from collateral

Step5 : Margin report at end of day
Total margin required : 1Lac + 80k = 1.8L
Available cash : 1L
Collateral : 1 L

Now will the report consider out of 1.8 L margin requirement, 90k used from Cash and 90k from collateral leaving 20K as balance on the next day Available margin ?
So, in this case no interest charged ?

Thanks in advance
