I understand that brokerage with Zerodha will be the same inspite of reduced lot sizes, but do the taxes go up or any other charges can go up due to recent lot size reduction?

No. All charges are a percentage of the turnover. It wouldn’t matter if the lot size is 25 or 50 which is why the reduction wouldn’t result in an increase in charges.

Nope, there won’t be any increment in any type of charges as such. Only the lot size has been reduced/halved by SEBI, which has nothing to do with monetary calculations.

I dont see any problem except brokerage charges might go up, if you use bracket orders due to multiple order execution, now that nifty lot size is only 25.

I don’t use bracket order since i am a swing trader, so not much of an issue for me :slight_smile:
