Icici bank problem

The stock closed yesterday at 1794 and it opened today at 362(-80%), I have bought icicibank dec future shares at 1720.What should I do now am I in loss?

Stock split happened today, then how should I book profits now??

Please help

Hi AR,

You will not suffer any loss as a consequence of a corporate action alone. If you’ve bought December Futures @ 1720 where the lot size = 250, post split, you’ll have the same Futures contract at post split price of 1720/5 = 344, with the lot size being changed to 1250.

For you to compute profits, you can take 344 as your entry price considering the fact that you’ve bought it at 1720.
