If options in indian are European standard then how can we trade them before expiry?

An European option is a version of an options contract that limits execution to its expiration date.

Then how are we able to buy and sell options before expiry?

“execution” is not limited to expiration date.
“exercise” is limited to the expiration “time” (not even date!!)

It is akeen to lottery ticket which is transferrable.
The ticket can be exercised only on the “jackpot date”
But in between you can sell your lottery tiocket to others.

So even though option contracts are european and can be exercised only at expiry, you can sell it in between any time.
