whether there will be a gap up or gap down opening ,only dow jones will tell but as far as your question is concerned , these things does not matter for market , even if india wins today , market will remain in same condition as it is going due to bad fundamentals factors playing at the market.

There will be no effect on Nifty even India win World cup. If BCCI got listed in the Market there may be a little effect because of Share price fluctuation.
I think Cricket is for entertainment there will be no economic effect over our nation to open Gap up or Down.
Just for Fun. Today morning my friend asked me that is Market not declared the holiday because of India Australia Semi final. LOL.
