if i transfer my bank account from one branch to another branch in same city , do i have to send documents again ? if yes, can it be done electronically/ online ?

SInce the IFSC code will change you will have to courier us a duly signed copy of the account modification form along with the bank statement/cancelled cheque with the updated details.
