Mods are not interested, so just ignore these accounts. These two clankers are an obvious starting point. Shameless and dumb promotions. If i live to 3026, then i will have to ignore them again …

Before choosing the Ignored option by visiting the user’s forum profile,
in case you haven’t already,
please flag such posts appropriately (eg. use Spam for repeated promotion)
so that the Mods can review.

yes… Its annoying, Forum should be a place for actual interaction, not this. So I participate less these days…

We’re keeping an eye on this. We want to allow the serious discussion ones while keeping promotional posts in check.
If yu come across posts that feels shouldn’t or don’t belong here, please do flag them. We’ll take a look.

For now, i will mark as spam whenever a link or product name gets mentioned, whenever i come across it. Edgelog for example, that guy is a regular spammer.
But these people also post a lot of posts that don’t mention the product yet like baits, with nonsensical/wrong/useless/obvious info often with authoritative language with full conviction. To a layman it might even seem useful. It gets very annoying to read it repeatedly, but for now i wont mark them as spam as its discretionary, maybe mods can look at it.
Like below one. He creates such posts, likely just some trash AI text and eventually weasels his product’s name into it. There are many such threads these days, probably from same guy with multiple accounts.

I think we should mark all posts that mention EdgeLog as spam from this guy, he is also the owner of that product and there are loads of them in this forum now
He has been caught pretending to be a user of that product as well, just few days after claiming he was the owner. Its hilariously stupid, @VijayNair caught him. Maybe he thinks this is some sort of SEO.
