What is interest statement in Zerodha console

An interest of 0.05% per day is charged to clients who are having a negative balance in their account. You can refer to this link for more information on interest charges.

The interest statement is a summary of the day wise interest charges for the debit balance on a particular day for a given period of time.

We’ve removed the previous and current FY options on the Interest statement page.

@ShubhS9 - When would this amount be debited from funds? I don’t see it in funds statement.

Hi @Anil_Kuppa, the interest charges for the month are debited in the first week of the following month.
