What is the physical interpretation of vix @ShubhS9 ? Have gone through varsity, but the question is whether vix shows the difference in price from last many weeks price range or todays price movement range?

India VIX is the perception of market for next 30 trading sessions. It tells us about volatility of market and the possible momentum on either side. If India VIX is 20 that means according to current scenario and worldwide conditions market can make a move of 20% on either side in a time period of 1 year. India vix is dynamic, so even this possible movement in a time period of 1 year also changes.
