Day trading is the strategy of buying and selling a futures contract within the same day without holding open long or short positions overnight. There are various types of Intraday trading strategies like - breakout, scalping, momentum, reversal and via using pivot points.
On the other hand, F&O trading is a contract to buy or sell the underlying asset for a specific price at a pre-determined time.
As you are new to trading, I want you to go through technical analysis of stocks first. You can lean the basics via a learning app , course and many be from free resources. Whatever it is, to get clear hang of things, learning the basics is a first step
