# Introducing Privacy Mode on Kite web

Currently you are hiding day change %. This is public info. It is not privacy mode, but “Hide everything and make app useless” mode.
Can you tell me a usecase that is satisfied by the current mode? I can only think of being able to view list of stocks in your account. This is something most people know without even opening app.

Yes exactly. I am not gaining anything by opening the app in privacy mode.
