IPO listing day trade options at Zerodha

Hi, I have couple of queries regarding IPO listing day trades at Zerodha:

  1. Why does Zerodha not allow short selling for day trading on IPO listing day? Though some other brokers like Kotak allow it.
  2. Is it SEBI restriction or Zerodha applying its own set of rules over and above what SEBI is providing?

We are allowing intraday trading on Listing day for IPO scrips without any leverage after 10.30 AM according to its volatility.
