IPO shares alloted but not visible under holdings in Q backoffice

I have been allotted 1 lot (30 shares) of Cochin Shipyard & the shares have been credited to my demat account yesterday (09/08) itself. However, I am unable to see the same under holdings in Zerodha. When can it be seen?

Also, is it necessary for them to be updated for me to sell the shares tomorrow on listing day?

The shares will show up in Kite tomorrow morning and in your DEMAT by tomorrow evening. Yes, you can sell it if you wish.
