I can see call and put options for 18jan and then of 25jan etc.

Are you speaking about Bank nifty options cos bank nifty has weekly options as well…

Only Bank Nifty weekly options expires every Thursday. All other options expires on last Thursday of the month.

@shravan40 but I know stocks which are expiring this thursday 18jan2018 e.g. Titan, L&T etc. You can login to zerodha and check yourself. That’s why I’m confused.

@Avi91: I don’t think so. Option contract of Above mention scrips are available in the form of

  1. Current Month
  2. Mid Month
  3. Far Month

and X.CE/PE, where X is the price at which contract or written.

I think that 18 denotes year - 2018 not the date.
