I don’t think so. It will be positive but not new peak, I guess.

For a new high Nifty has to cross above 8187.
Considering Nifty is at 7979, it calls for a 2.6% up move between today (another 2.5hrs for markets close today) and tomorrow’s Muhurat session.
Considering Muhurat session is open only for a short time, volumes will be also be low.
Hence it would be quite challenging for a new high.

Most of the earlier Diwalis markets used to trade positive, not new highs. So, you can rule out new high for today’s Muhurat, but markets will be trading on a plus side (this also depends on American, Asian and European Indices). Lets see. And ha…Happy Diwali.
