Is it possible to rebalance stock/mf portfolio without “realising” profit from tax perspective?

It depends on rebalancing, if rebalancing includes any kind of selling then you don’t have any other option but to face short term capital gain tax/ long term capital gain tax.
If you want to avoid taxes then I will suggest to stop or pause SIP in particular fund. You may increase or decrease mutual fund’s SIP for rebalancing purpose.
I will suggest to discuss with your CA for the income tax queries.

If you have a small portfolio, you can rebalance by making additional investments if you can. That’s the only way, otherwise, if there’s selling & buying involved then there will be tax implications.
