Is SECURITIES IN BAN PERIOD applicable for Index also?

I know that stocks can go in the ban period if interest contracts cross 95% of the MWPL.

Wanted to know if this is applicable to Index stocks also? (Banknifty for example)

Yes, Securities under ban is applicable to all F&O stocks (including index stocks)
