Is there a general trend direction of nifty on contract expiry week and contract expirty date?

Im wondering how nifty is going to behave on contract expiry date as every reporter in cnbc is talking about contract expiry these days. Im not going to predict the market move. Just for the sake of knowledge im asking.

There is no general trend, and even if it was there that someone has spotted, I don’t think they would be sharing it instead of trading it.

Not really, there is no particular TREND Direction for NIFTY during contract expiry. It could be BULLISH, it could be BEARISH. Either ways, sometimes it could be even BULLISH in the morning and BEARISH in the afternoon and vice versa. NIFTY swings or dances on many many factors, if all factors or maximum factors are favorable, then BULLISH otherwise BEARISH.
